Recently, while continuing to work on new music, Regional One has been engaging fans with an acoustic version series on YouTube. The series offers a stripped-down, intimate experience of their songs, showcasing the raw emotion and depth behind their powerful rock sound. With each performance, the band reimagines their tracks, blending acoustic arrangements with their signature energy and passion. This series not only offers a fresh perspective on their music but also highlights the band’s versatility as they continue to connect with their growing audience in exciting new ways.
Regional One released their award-nominated EP Hero on Friday, 28th July 2023. Produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Nova Twins) at Long Wave Studios, Hero showcases the band’s evolving sound and has already garnered significant attention.
Prior to Hero, Regional One released their debut EP SOLD! on 26th November 2021. The release was supported by a music video, a hometown show, and international press coverage, solidifying the band’s presence in the rock scene. Both EPs have contributed to the band’s growing reputation, with Hero marking an exciting step forward in their musical journey.
This past Christmas, Regional One released a fun cover of Corey Taylor’s Xmas on YouTube, which quickly became a fan favourite, garnering 11,000 views over the holiday season. The cover showcased the band’s playful side while maintaining their signature energy and style. This release added to their growing collection of content on YouTube, further connecting with their audience in a unique and festive way.
