Citizens unite under one musical banner for a theatrical journey through the dystopian future of Regional One.

Fusing the cinematic intensity of Muse with the heavy-hitting edge of Black Stone Cherry, Avenged Sevenfold and Shinedown, Bournemouth-based Regional One deliver an immersive blend of hard-hitting rock, memorable hooks and theatrical visual storytelling.

2025 saw the band push further afield, headlining Live & Unheard at Lighthouse, Poole, completing a UK tour supporting Gin Annie and heading overseas for the first time to support Electron in Portugal. The year also saw Ministry surpass 21,000 plays on YouTube, marking another milestone for the band.

That momentum continued into 2026, beginning with Regional One taking 2nd place in Radio WigWam’s Best Band Award. The band also successfully put on their own Ignite The Flame headline tour, with a second headline tour for 2026 now announced, taking Regional One back into Europe for two shows in Switzerland.

The summer saw the band step onto some of their biggest stages to date, including the main stage at Portsmouth Guildhall Square for Pompey Summer Sounds and opening the Firestarter Stage at Maid of Stone Festival to their biggest crowd yet, estimated at 2,000–3,000 people.

Their Maid of Stone performance also earned strong praise from the rock press. MetalTalk noted they were “showing how their sound had toughened up recently, the hooks still intact”, while MyGlobalMind described Regional One as an “energetic group” who “set the scene for the weekend’s second stage”. Rock Fiend Publications highlighted the sharp riffs of Control, compared the commanding vocal delivery of SOLD! to Shinedown and noted the crowd joining in with the “woahs” of Hide.

Regional One released their award-nominated EP Hero in July 2023, produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Nova Twins) at Long Wave Studios. The EP followed their 2021 debut SOLD! and marked an important step forward in the band’s evolving sound.

Alongside their increasingly heavier live direction and work on new music, Regional One recorded and released Acoustic Collection: Volume 1 in August 2026, reimagining their music in a stripped-back format and showcasing another side of the band’s songwriting.

With successful headline tours, international shows, their biggest festival crowd to date and new music in the works, Regional One are ready to take their brand of theatrical rock to bigger stages and festivals across the UK and beyond in 2027.
